Marcus is the head of GE Capital Aviation Service's airport business and a Senior Vice President of GE.

Prior to joining GECAS, Marcus worked for Macquarie Bank Limited as their Division Director heading up their European airport investments. In this role he was a Board Director for Rome Airport and Birmingham Airport and oversaw the team based in London responsible for Macquarie's other airport investments in Bristol, Brussels and Copenhagen. Marcus joined Macquarie as a founding team member to establish the Macquarie Airports Group Fund.

Before Macquarie, Marcus was the Commercial Director at Luton Airport immediately after it was privatized and successfully sold the private equity stake to TBI plc after a two year turnaround period.

After an initial career in the retail sector, Marcus started his airport career with BAA plc and progressed to senior management roles in BAA's retail division.

Marcus is a member of the Institute of Directors and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Guildford University and a BSc (Hons) from Bristol University.
